Chesapeake - Ivye Standin Hall, 83, died November 3, 2014. A native of Portsmouth, she was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Farlin Hall, Sr. and a brother, William Standin. Ivye was a retired bookkeeper/supervisor at Tidewater Community College. She was a member of Jackson Memorial Baptist Church and the Joyful Sounds.
Survivors include four sons, Kenneth F. Hall, Jr. and wife Lynn, Rev. E. Thomas Hall and wife Laura, John E. Hall and wife Dara, and Robert L. Hall and wife Leigh; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, Nov. 7, at 1 PM in Jackson Memorial Baptist Church by the Rev. Jackie Allen. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
