Chesapeake - Grace Johnston McCormick, 90, died January 5, 2017. A native of Iredell County, NC, she was a member of Cradock Presbyterian Church and the D.A.V. Women's Auxiliary Chapter 22.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Bruce E. McCormick; daughter, Barbara Savage; son Michael McCormick and wife Kim of Chesapeake; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 10, at 11 AM in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel by the Rev. Valena Hoy. The family will receive friends at the funeral home the hour before the service. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cradock Presbyterian Church.
